25th Anniversary invite

I knocked up this design quickly the other night for my mum and dad to hand out to friends for the party their having. Would have done the illustration in paper but didnt have time. and with the size of the picture it probably wouldnt have been very clear anyway :S

As I have been working in a vintage clothes shop for the last few months I have had to explore my creativity in a different way! As after christmas it has become a little quieter I have had a lot more time to play around with the mannikins and a shop full of different clothes, new and vintage.

My degree show stand

Heres my degree show stand, I thought I wouldn't have much to put on my table at first but then managed to fill it! Quite happy with how it all my imagery tied together.

Me and Sooz have been making jewellery...(instead of doing uni work)... and then selling it at event around notts. We did really well and got a lot of interest when we stood at Bangers and Fash with our stuff. We're hoping that we can get in a few shops around nottingham with our wares! But trying to perfect our production of our product and also come up with some more designs.

Thought i'd best get updating my blog know I have a little bit of time on my hands!

These are the presentation boards for my hallmark project...

Using my illustrations to create christmas themed cards...

3D cards that slot together for an ornament effect to sit on your mantle piece...

And working on pattern repeats for wrapping paper designs using individual illustrations to build up the pattern. Also making 3D items such as gift bags with my illustration of a christmas pudding enlarged onto each side of the bag.

I Graduated!

21st July 2010....I graduated!! A very nice day wish I could do it all again. :)
